Yes! Humidity kills! It's my least favorite weather.
It's uncomfortably hot & damp, your clothes stick to you, you drown in sweat, things get moldy, it feels stuffy, and you can hardly breathe! It's just so UUUGGGGGGH!
My brother's place has a dehumidifier though, so if it gets too bad, I can just invite myself over there~ lol

Lately, there's been a lot of rain. The wet season is supposed to be ending soon (if it hasn't already)but it seems to be raining more often! This week, it's supposed to drizzle tomorrow and pour Friday through Monday with a chance of thunderstorm on Saturday.

but I guess that's in the eye of the beholder, if you don't like the beach, then it's certainly not doing you any good! XD
I've only been to a sandy beach once and that was a long time ago. but I still want to go again! The only bodies of water nearby me are "unswimmable".

Of course your sister will have fun! Way too muh fun to be homesick~
and she can call you right? Just to make sure that the sound of her voice never empties from your head.

After he moved out, my older brother said that he could still hear my voice disagreeing with him, so that means that I succeeded as a lil' sis!

Right now, it's 22 degrees where I am. So, not too bad~
The online weather thingy says that Thursday's supposed to have a high of 30 though.
(I'm usually indoors anyway, so it doesn't really matter for me) AC is heavenly!
I have some friends in Obihiro (up in Hokkaido, that where I saw the bear signs)and when I spoke to them earlier this week, it was only 14 degrees there!

If it gets too hot, try having a fan blowing right on your face, like next to your bed or something. It won't get all wet & condensation-y like the ice packs will and it feels nice~
That what I usually do. Or try to do, since the dog always hogs it. She falls asleep right in front of it and blocks off the breeze so that the rest of the house gets hot and stuffy while she's all cool. Smart, mean dog.
My cousin always scolds me for doing it anyways, she says if i get too close, that my hair could get sucked in and my face ripped off.
So maybe it's not the best idea...

or, if you live close to it, go to a beach!
I hear Australian beaches are supposed to be nice. (so nice, that all the pretty sharks and deadly jellyfish live there apparently)
Maybe that's another bad idea....


Don't worry about your lil' sis! I'm sure she'll have a lots of fun and tell you about all the great stuff she did when she gets back!
and she'll be back pretty soon! Just try to keep busy, so you don't have time to feel all lonely, then she'll be back before you know it!

But if you really want to hear her all the time, then You can get something that records, record her voice, and put it on loop. So you can hear her nag over and over and over in that repetitive way that kids sometimes get when they want something!
You can listen to that whenever you want and unlike the real thing, if it gets too annoying, you can shut it off! Xp
